About me
The National Corvair Museum is a museum full of history and artifacts from the Chevrolet Motor Division of General Motors production of the only American Rear Engine Air Cooled automobile, The Corvair. Introduced in 1960 and produced for 9 years this revolutionary auto line produced cars, and trucks. The Museum although not large in comparison with others resides on the Famed Mother Road Route 66 and has a wonderful timeline history of this vehicle. The Corvair still has a worldwide following of over 3200 members all belonging to the Corvair Society of America who has a convention yearly and many regional events.
